Black Walnut & Maple Cutting Boards & Chopping Blocks from KONG BOARDS

About Us:

As a kid growing up in a small rural New England town, I had a passion for the outdoors. My grandfather was a small farmer and in the winter an opportunistic logger. When going out on the trails with him I learned at a young age to never bring down a beautiful strong tree. He always worked hard to find lumber already fallen. This is where I learned the meaning of sustainability.

As I grew up I moved 30 minutes away from that same small town only to find myself in a smaller town surrounded by beautiful wilderness.  I formed my passion for the outdoors and soon combined that with cooking and woodworking.

Today I'm lucky enough to have these passions form one goal.  This goal is to build 100% black walnut cutting boards & chopping blocks. They are 100% made in the USA, “built for a lifetime”. This is where KONG BOARDS of New England USA has come to life. It's not just a board, it’s a life lived with passion, ferociousness, and no regrets.

The mission of KONG BOARDS is to build the best-personalized cutting board & chopping blocks in the USA …even the world and do it in a responsible way that looks after our planet.
